As i write this thr is a certain amnt of joy mingled with anonymous satisfaction within me as Rahul Dravid completed his 11,000 runs (and thankfully finally!!!a hundred that had eluded him for soo long, quite unlkely for a man of his calibre).It feels good, as if smething fell in place in life aftr a long time and the feeling is absolutely sublime:-)
ThankGod for v hv such role models like him who keep us amazed , motivated ; and moresoever their truthfullnes and sincerity makes us believe that we r in a world as just and innocent as they are, 24x7 selflessly devoted to the job at hand.
I am sure all the sensitive and soulful types cn empathise with me:-) and the rest who cnt, iwll nt blame thm for nt being one, cos "Being sensitive" is ,more often than not, being "vulnerable"; and i was equally sensitive with wht Bala Thackrey had to say abt Sachin.
Now this is india for you -:
"SUPER-INCLUSIVE ABT OTHERS and VERY-EXCLUSIVE AMONGST THEMSELVES".

The batting maestro who had recently said that he was a proud Maharashtrian and an equally proud Indian, has triggered a national debate by saying this?
The accusation : He has hurt the sentiments of the Maharashtrian people and he wanted to score a political point when he said this.
More importantly the person who accuses the genius is none other than Thackrey senoir.
Ofcrse it could've been no one else bt the thackreys and this time it ws the elder statesman "Bala Saheb Thackrey".
Interstingly ther are stark similarities btwn the two:-Both(Thackrey and Sachin) are elder statesmen who have been tremendously successfull in their respective careers,both belong to maharashtra and both have been influential personalities of india.Bt heres wre the difference lies; Thackrey has lost it while sachin continues to bask in the glory.
It ws very much Thackreyisque to comment the way he did, the only thing tht went wrong though ws the Personality he chose to mess with,Sachin.And this, thackrey frgt out of his utter desperation to reproject himself as the lone Saviour of Maratha pride as "The yonger Thackrey" (Raj) has already slipped the carpet under him.He thght it to be a gr8 opportunity to confront The Little Master on Maratha Manush and revive the stolen charm,bt in his hurridness to do so i am sure he forgot Sachin's stature and got confused with his size.
Cos Tendulkar is the one person who can easily be ,single handedly, the most powerfull personality in the world ever ; for wt he does no one can; he unites the whole country,the complete India ; from north to south and east to west(This is no mean an achievement if we revisit history of this country).
When he bats even the athiests pray,his century becomes their success,his happiness becomes their satisfaction in life.He is the son of every household, it is like each household has seen him grow up and struggle to achieve things in life,
he is the aspiration of the nation -the is the son of India.People console their failures in life with his success and feel content abt it.
He is wt The Eiffel Tower is fr France,the symbollical "Courage,strength and pride" of the nation.

The accusation by Thackrey on Sachin is so trifle tht i dnt even feel to gt into intricacies of it cos there aint any.Its simple -plain bread n butter thing frm him so he sticks with it,bt here i wud also like to comment that "what Thackrey says is not all crap too", i mean nt in context with sachin bt otherwise.
The states like UP and Bihar must nt make this controversy a scapegoat and escape the truth that underlines the whole debate,they have to develope for the good of the nation and its a high time they did so.Its true we are all indians and we should help our citizens at times of trouble bt that does not mean we start falling in trouble just cos there are people to bail us out.UP and Bihar have to up the ante and start contributing in National development.The mentality of the people has to be changed and a lot of work needs to be done in these states, cos a healthy competition is any day good for a nation's prosperity.
Why only criticize Thackery atleast he is sruggling for the people of his state who have posited their faith in him for years-whatelse do we expect a State Elected representative to do.He is atleast concerned for the people of his state and only wants to make it count- nothing wrong wih that- when people get elected and re-elected for years and have nuthing to offer still have the audacity to speak shit and ask for vote ,how does one justify that? Or is it that they are soo unimportant that it has become rather a blessing for them.
Thackrey certainly has ulterior motives - bt wt he says does make sense - bt only when we are "senstive " enuff to perceive it.... and as u knw , not all are.....
